The Age of Ultron

5 issues have been out so far for this story. featuring Ultron one of the Avengers greatest foes. Set in an alternate reality where Ultron rules earth with many major cities left in ruins. I've enjoyed the slower pacing and build up with the twice monthly issues, with issue 10 being the climax. Come graphic novel time will make for a solid read. Written by Brian Michael Bendis with various artists. I love alternate reality stories in which anything can happen and does because it doesn't take place in any sort of continuity. So check this mother out.

Saga

Graphic Novel pick

So i picked up Brian K. Vaughan's first trade paper back of Saga. As a fan of this work i had little doubt that this book would rock. I enjoyed Y the last man and Ex Machina (in comic book form not graphic novel so i read month to month in those books)So yah the first chapter had me hooked immediately. The book is science fiction and a very adventurous on the run kind of tone. A war between two races in which the main characters are each a part of the opposite race, have a baby together. Meanwhile each faction of their race for some reason is after this halfblooded alien child. The book is full of magic spells, space guns, bounty hunters and lie detecting cats. The artist Is Fiona Staples. Her name is new to me but as soon as i put my eyes to the pages i was happy it was as sharp as the dialogue, pacing of panels is amazing and layout and story telling ability. her art feels great for this tone of book. I definitely recommend Saga published by image comics

Injustice Gods Among Us!!

Injustice Wiki Hey there folks, for my newest post I figured I would let any of you out of the loop in on one of my most anticipated games this year!! Right here we have Injustice Gods Among Us! Along with a fantastic roster of both heroes and villains we have background characters that are featured in comics as well. As far as I know this game is it's own universe(elseworlds) where Superman has taken over the world in some ways. Some heroes/villains are on his side, some are not. I have been reading the comic series that takes place before the events of the game and I gotta tell you its amazing. Great story for being a video game based tale, the characters are not out of place and they keep their own distinct flavor you know them to have. That being said, the gameplay looks to be similar to that of Mortal Kombat that was just released a couple years ago. The ability to hold back to block is a new feature that I think will be much appreciated on the fighting games community, I know I love it already as I hate the button blocking unless it involves a countering system like DOA. Anyways, I will be picking this game up at launch on X-Box along with the fight stick being offered through the battle edition. Thanks for reading! Nuff Said

Far too long!

Hi there internet land! Finally getting my shit together and blogging it up for all you to skim through. First of all, just need to touch on the fact that minecraft is by far the best game ever made in my opinion at this moment in time. Can't put it down. I will try to keep my attention span in check and take some pics of some of the structures I'm planning on creating. Some ideas I have been mulling over are OA(green lanterns homeworld for the kids out there), Snake Mountain and Castle Greyskull. I'm gonna keep it to those for now so maybe I'll post WIPs of them all. Nuff Said
