5 issues have been out so far for this story. featuring Ultron one of the Avengers greatest foes. Set in an alternate reality where Ultron rules earth with many major cities left in ruins. I've enjoyed the slower pacing and build up with the twice monthly issues, with issue 10 being the climax. Come graphic novel time will make for a solid read. Written by Brian Michael Bendis with various artists. I love alternate reality stories in which anything can happen and does because it doesn't take place in any sort of continuity. So check this mother out.

Saga
So i picked up Brian K. Vaughan's first trade paper back of Saga. As a fan of this work i had little doubt that this book would rock. I enjoyed Y the last man and Ex Machina (in comic book form not graphic novel so i read month to month in those books)So yah the first chapter had me hooked immediately. The book is science fiction and a very adventurous on the run kind of tone. A war between two races in which the main characters are each a part of the opposite race, have a baby together. Meanwhile each faction of their race for some reason is after this halfblooded alien child. The book is full of magic spells, space guns, bounty hunters and lie detecting cats. The artist Is Fiona Staples. Her name is new to me but as soon as i put my eyes to the pages i was happy it was as sharp as the dialogue, pacing of panels is amazing and layout and story telling ability. her art feels great for this tone of book. I definitely recommend Saga published by image comics
